It’s probably one of the most difficult decisions you’ll ever have to make, but there comes a time when loved ones may need a little extra help – professional care of the highest standard.
Whether you’re looking for a friendly, well-run care home for an elderly aunt, or perhaps respite care or some home help, we have a list of over 500 accredited care providers across Wales for you to choose from. All are members of Care Forum Wales, which means they have signed up to the Care Forum Wales Dignity in Care Charter and are fully supportive of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between Care Forum Wales, Welsh Local Government Association and the Association of Directors of Social Services,Wales an initiative launched by the Welsh Assembly Government as part of providing quality care service. All providers are registered with CSSIW.
If you’re starting from scratch, find out about the different types of care available by reading our Guide to Finding a Care Provider. Don’t forget to look at our jargon-buster to help de-mystify any technical terms used. Or if you simply want to search by geographic location or know the type of help you need, search our on-line database of care providers by using our Care Compare Wales search tool (right).
We hope our site helps you find your way through what can sometimes seem a confusing maze of options. And, of course, if you need more advice, don’t hesitate to call our team on 01978 755400.
